I am a solo private caterer based in the Uttlesford area of Essex. I specialise in both private catering and bespoke events alongside my growing frozen meal and farmers market business. I operate and advertise mainly out of my instagram @Lillyskitchenessex.
I am fully trained, fully insured and my kitchen has a 5 star hygiene rating. I trained at the prestigious Ballymaloe cookery school and have completed the 12 week certificate course in Cork, Ireland.
I have a strong food heritage, I am lucky to be raised in a family that cooks/hosts/collects recipes and I am the third generation of my family to work in food. I have a depth of recipes and influences from my own heritage that can be followed in my menus and I love to share this with my clients.
I get a huge amount of joy from my work and I have an ever growing client base. The bespoke catering side of my business is very exciting; I never know what my next job will be; whether it’s film set catering, canapés in the middle of a field, picnics with runny scotch eggs and I just absolutely love it!
I source carefully, I buy local whenever I can and know all my suppliers on a first name basis. Its important that their amazing ingredients shine.
