Delicious local beef slow cooked in a luxurious red wine sauce with shallots, mushrooms and Great Garnetts smoked bacon.
I follow the Julia Childs recipe and it includes hand peeled shallots, heaps of smoked bacon and sooooo much wine!
The recipe calls for a glass of wine for each portion, which is why this is my most luxurious frozen meal on offer…!
The dish is so deliciously rich and will easily impress your friends and family, great with mash, better with dauphinois and lots of veg!
